Horses change lives. They give our young people confidence and self-esteem. They give us hope! Through their beauty, grace and personalities, horses help us accomplish many of our aspirations - self-confidence, leadership, honesty, respect, responsibility and compassion. Horses also evoke excitement, freedom, adventure and friendship. Everyone wants creativity, challenges, and personal connections in their lives while at the same time having fun. Using horses as a wonderful vehicle and voice for education, our lesson programs offer an engaging and effective arena for growth and learning in a safe environment.
Our emphasis is on Safety, Fun and Friendships while learning to ride.

1 hour lesson $45, or package of six 1 hour lessons $225 (Giving you one free lesson!)
½ hour lesson $30, or package of six ½ hour lessons $150 (Giving you one free lesson!)


OUR PRIVATE LESSON PROGRAMS:

INTRODUCTORY/STARTER:

Perfect for the total beginner who has not had lessons previously. Grooming, handling and tacking up (saddling) skills are taught. Students will be expected to prepare their horses for each riding lesson. Riding lessons cover mounting, basic positioning and control at the walk and trot.

BEGINNER:

For the student who has had previous lessons, can tack up, and has good control over the horse at the walk and trot. Riding lessons will continue to concentrate on the basics of good riding position, basic aids, and improved control at the walk and trot, in preparation for canter.

INTERMEDIATE BEGINNER:

Riders are confident and cantering. They have practiced a two point position and are doing work over poles and cavaletti.

ADVANCED BEGINNER:

Riders are proficient in basic gaits, working on two track movements, working without stirrups, cantering on the correct leads and started to work over small jumps.

Our lessons programs are recommended for children ages 4 through 10 years of age.

If your child isn't old enough for riding lessons, we offer private pony rides where your child gets to come and pick out their own pony, help brush, saddle then ride for 20 minutes. The cost for that is only $20.00! Private rides are available 7 days a week by appointment. We can do children as young as 6 months old for this!
