To Our Valued Clients, Yes, we are open, and are happy to serve you however we can with our magical ponies and unicorns!
Maintaining the highest standards for a clean, healthy and safe environment for our clients, animals and team members has always been, and will continue to be, our top priority.
We are actively monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and have measures in place to ensure we continue to serve our customers in a way that is safe for both customers and our employees. We are committed to serving the needs of our customers and providing a magical pony entertainment service safely.
The COVID-19 pandemic across the U.S. continues to change rapidly. We are committed to a whole-of-society approach built around strict adherence to infectious disease control policies and procedures, and a comprehensive strategy to prevent infections, save lives and minimize impact. Following the recommendations of the CDC, World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. State Department, local community leaders and departments of health, we are prepared to navigate through these challenging circumstances with your safety and confidence in Dreamland Ponies at the forefront of everything we do.
To help minimize impact to service, and for keeping our environment (site, equipment, ponies and team) safe for you we will continue to follow and refer to guidelines and protocol provided by the CDC, state and local public health officials in the areas that we serve.
We are Following Strict Safety Protocols In addition to what our team is doing to keep the environment safe and stress-free for you, we have implemented processes before and at each client's event to mitigate COVID-19 risk. In preparation for your pony ride or party, our team is adhering to strict cleaning and sanitation protocols using CDC recommended cleaning products and disinfectants appropriately between events. We have allowed for additional time in our schedule for extra attention to detail.
We are ensuring social distancing (i.e., keeping six feet of space or more between people) as much as possible. We do this by limiting the number of people we interact with at parties and events, and limit close proximity between clients and our staff. However, your child will require close distance and/or physical contact with our pony handlers and ponies. You will see our team in proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including face masks, using hand sanitizer, practicing social distancing as much as we can, and cleaning with CDC-approved products and best-practice protocols.
Coronavirus Specific Appearance Terms
While you are with us for your event, here's what we need your help with to increase safety at your event:
For anyone over the age of two-years-old, make sure that all people present at your event (including you) wear a mask when 20 ft or less from our staff members, ponies, unicorns, animals, and any of the equipment / property that we own. Please wear a face covering when we arrive and throughout your entire event while we are present. We are requiring all clients, and our team to do so! Acceptable face coverings include homemade masks, cloth masks, medical masks or cloth coverings such as a bandana. Your face covering should fit snugly but comfortably against the sides of your face, covering both your nose and mouth.
It's imperative that you provide access to hand washing areas and hand sanitizer to all people at your event.
Please practice social distancing during your party or event. This means six feet of space between you and others wherever possible. Please help our staff member(s) to enforce 6' social distancing guidelines with any children or other guests at your event, and keep all non-riders and guests 20 feet away from our ponies and staff until it is their turn to ride.
Understand that we reserve the right to enlist the help of guests in sanitizing equipment that guests have used to maintain social distancing. e.g. using a disinfectant wipe on something they touched.
Allow our staff member(s) to remain outside in fresh air at all times.
Please follow your County guidelines, and limit your gatherings to the number of guests required by your specific County.
Normally one of our team acts as a "side walker" right next to a child when they sit on or ride our ponies and unicorns. During COVID we welcome a parent to take this role instead so that their child's personal space is next to a member of their own household. We will also ask parents to take a more active role in lifting their child onto our ponies to avoid contact with our staff members.
Ask any outside guests or family members planning to attend your event that are not feeling well or that may have been exposed to Covid-19 to please stay home. Know that we need to be able to conduct symptom and/or temperature check(s) if any guest or participant is suspected of being ill. We'll expect you to ask any people displaying active cold, fever, COVID, or flu-like symptoms to leave the party to reduce the risk of infection or disease spread to others, and know that if a person, regardless of who, is sick that they may not participate in any pony, unicorn, petting zoo or related activities.
If it’s nearly time for your event or party and you or anyone in your household is not feeling well or are worried you’ve been exposed to COVID-19, please give us a call at (888) 960-7669 or (425) 495-3130. If you were not displaying symptoms at the time of scheduling or confirming your appointment, but have since begun to experience symptoms of COVID-19 (including a fever, new or changed cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing), have been exposed to or are caring for an individual who is positive for COVID-19, or have traveled recently to or from an area experiencing COVID-19 spread, please call us at (888) 960-7669 or (425) 495-3130. If you are determined to be in an at-risk category, we will work with you to reschedule your party or event appropriately.
